WELCOME
I’M GLAD YOU’RE HERE
You deserve a space where you can show up fully - without having to shrink or explain parts of yourself.
ELISABETH WILTENS
MSc Clinical Psychology
About Hi 👋 I’m Elisabeth, but you can call me Liz.
I’m a queer-identifying psychologist who works with members of the LGBTQIA+ community.
I support clients in exploring identity, navigating complex trauma, and working through challenges such as people-pleasing, family dynamics, anxiety and minority stress.
-
Young adults from the LGBTQIA+ community who are:
Exploring their identity (maybe for the first time)
Navigating complex or early-life experiences
Going through life transitions that feel overwhelming
Curious about how their lived experiences shape who they are and how they move through the world
I specialise in providing supportive and affirming care to queer, trans, and gender-expansive clients.
-
You are the expert of your own experience. I see you as a whole person, shaped by your lived experiences, and I deeply value your innate wisdom. I take a collaborative approach to counselling, where we work together to explore what’s coming up for you at a pace that feels safe and manageable.
I draw from holistic approaches including attachment-based, emotion-focused, values-based, and trauma-informed frameworks.
-
When I’m not in sessions, you’ll likely find me
I believe therapists should go to therapy (I love my therapist!), and that the power of community can lead to really meaningful healing. My own experiences of coming out and navigating queerness allow me to hold space in a way that is thoughtful, affirming, and trauma-informed.
